| Salina Physical Therapy, LC was established in 1981. SPT was Salina’s first private practice outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic, and has always offered quality and innovative services to the Salina area. Initially, SPT provided services geared toward the athlete with the latest in injury prevention and rehabilitation, and worked with area high school and college athletes. We also became noted for treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal problems. As our clinic and staff expanded, more specialized services were added. SPT was the first in Salina to offer Functional Capacity Evaluations to return patients to work or measure disability. SPT was the first to offer physical therapy specifically for women’s health issues such as pelvic floor rehabilitation and pre- and post-partum treatment. SPT has also provided sports medicine services to USD #305 for over 20 years. SPT is a leader in providing work conditioning programs, ergonomic assessments to businesses, isokinetic testing, vestibular assessment and rehabilitation, and occupational medicine to area employers. In 1999, SPT became part of COMCARE, PA, and has continued to provide the best outpatient physical therapy services with the strong values and reputations of both Salina Physical Therapy and COMCARE, PA. |
